Patently Good Ideas (Basics of Intellectual Property for Business and Entrepreneurs)

Every business has intellectual property (IP), in one form or another. Protecting IP is important, but it can also be expensive. And with startups, every dollar matters. So, deciding whether and how to spend funds on IP protection is a key question that should be answered in the early stages of a new business.
This session will cover IP protection including patents, trademarks, and copyrights. Our presenter is Jake Ward, experienced in preparation and prosecution of patent applications and legal opinions about patentability, infringement, patent validity, and freedom to practice.

This event will take place at the Braintree Building in Mansfield, Ohio. The session will end with free pizza and drinks, and a Q&A session with the presenter.
