ASHLAND, Ohio -- An Ashland-based small business will be giving away nearly $10,000 of services in honor of Small Business Saturday on Nov. 28.Spire Advertising will offer one north central Ohio small business a website and marketing package valued at $9,974.“Small businesses are the backbone of our local economy. This is an opportunity to show the big impact a small business can make in this community,” said Jeremy HarrisonSpire has also included several critical marketing services that include content creation, a custom video, traffic, and coaching as a part of the winnings. The entire team will be working closely with the winner to create a website that gets results.The winner will be selected based on answers to four questions describing the challenges and opportunities of the small business. An independent panel of three judges will be judging the forms. The judges are Barrett Thomas of BrainTree Business Development Center, Barbie Lange, President / CEO of Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce and Lee Tasseff, President of Mansfield / Richland County Convention and Visitors Bureau.Small businesses should apply online at www.spiread.com/10k by Nov. 30.Any small business within 40 miles of Mansfield is eligible to win. The winner will be selected and notified by Dec. 15, and the project will begin in January.
