Patents may protect your inventions and ideas from being copied by others. In this free seminar you can learn when it is a good idea to file a patent…and when it isn’t. Jake Ward, Registered Patent Attorney, will discuss the basics of patents for entrepreneurs and business people interested in learning more about whether or not a patent makes sense for their business. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions. There is no charge to participate, but preregistration is required.
Participants will be given the option of attending in person, or joining us online. For those attending in-person, we will serve pizza and drinks immediately after the session. Those attending online will be emailed the meeting link during the link prior to the event. All participants will have the opportunity to schedule an individual follow up meeting with Mr. Ward at no charge.
This session is Part One of a five-part “Ask the Expert Series” on patent law, general business law, trademark law, copyright law, and trade secrets laws. The next sessions will take place on July 7th, August 11th, September 8th, and October 13th.
