A workshop for farmers and other small family businesses that want to explore transferring ownership to the next generation. This workshop will be offered on the campus of Ashland University in the Dauch College of Business and Economics.

The workshop will address:

· What is the valuation of your farm or business?

· What resources are available for family businesses?

· What are the legal and tax consequences you should be aware of?

· What timetable makes sense for succession planning?
