Akron-Summit County Public Library has been a Patent and Trademark Resource Center (PTRC) since 1995. PTRCs are a nationwide network of public, academic, and special libraries spread throughout the United States.  This session will serve as an Introduction to Intellectual Property, to learn about patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets, what they are, how to get them, and how you can use them to protect your creative work.
